Let's incorporate more and more nature into our everyday lives. And promise ourselves to do that in the best way we can.
By integrating green facades into your designs, the building blends beautifully with its surroundings and changes with the seasons. You can literally and figuratively bring “life” into the environment without sacrificing the earth’s surface.
This requires a different approach to facades and architecture. An architecture that embraces the potential of the green facade and utilizes it to its full potential. This creates a surprising blend of nature and culture. Because plants and patterns can be tailored to your project, there are many creative possibilities and it makes your design unique.
Design possibilities
With our experience as architects, we are fully familiar with the ins and outs of our developed system. We will work with you to resolve any technical and structural issues. Our system can be used as an outer cavity wall, an internal wall, and even as a freestanding garden wall.
You can even design your entire building in a sustainable and potentially energy-neutral way, while making full use of the green wall in the architecture. We are happy to collaborate with you.
Planting options
A wall that reflects the seasons like nature. Thanks to the many options, this isn’t a problem. You can create a green facade that’s always green, summer and winter, without losing any leaves. But with our system, that’s completely unnecessary. Even if the blocks become visible among some bare plants, the wall still looks fantastic. How about a consciously chosen design where parts of the wall remain uncovered?
Our system guarantees good and natural rooting, keeping the need for planting to a minimum. The numerous planting possibilities for exterior walls are naturally different from those for interior walls. A wide range of plants is suitable for exterior walls, including shrubs, grasses, ferns, and flowering plants. Herbs, strawberries, or flowers can also be grown in the wall.
This offers opportunities for urban gardening in a densely populated environment. Interior walls often use (sub)tropical plants. When designing the green wall, we will suggest various planting motifs and plant varieties.
